UNIVERSAL ARMA-GARD
Overcomes problems associated with traditional graphite discs.
Universal Arma-Gard™ is an engineered graphite rupture disc device, requiring no holder to fit directly between flanges. The unique design overcomes problems associated with damage of conventional graphite rupture discs, caused by poor storage, handling and installation practice; as it is not adversely affected by misaligned, poorly supported pipework or over, or uneven torque tightening of pipe flange bolts. This is achieved through the use of a steel armoured ring, which protects the graphite rupture disc element, whilst allowing for a tight clamp and correct sealing. Unlike conventional monobloc designs Universal Arma-Gard™ eliminates the possibility of side wall bursts. Universal Arma-Gard™ is unique in being supplied with integral magnetic rupture discs detection, Flo-Tel™+ as standard.
  • Low pressure capability
  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Suitable for liquid, gas or vapour
  • 85% operating to burst pressure ratio
